Gmail Rundown

The Gmail Rundown feature delivers a quick summary of your unread emails from the previous day directly in Google Chat.

How It Works​

  • When enabled, Hana checks your Gmail for unread messages from the previous day and only includes those messages in the summary.
  • Spam, sent mail, and the Social category are always ignored.
  • New users have the Gmail Rundown turned on by default.
  • If everything has already been read, no rundown is sent.
  • Summaries are typically delivered between 9 AM and 3 PM in your local time.

Enabling or Disabling​

  1. Visit Hana Dashboard.
  2. Under Profile, toggle Gmail Rundown Daily Update to start or stop receiving these summaries.

After enabling, you'll receive a concise recap in a direct message with Hana like:
