Automatic Memories​

  • Hana is designed to automatically ingest facts as you talk to her
  • She will automatically create nodes, relationships and vectors as you talk
  • She is designed to only store facts related to your work and the work of your organization, ideally ignoring all other information

Hana's auto-ingested memories are shared across users. This is because in a corporate environment, users do work on similar goals and thus share context with each other. Hana tries to do the same by sharing this automatically ingested context with everyone. Although you can disable auto-memory ingestion for particular spaces in Spaces Module.

Forgetfulness​

Make sure you keep using Hana and talking to Hana, else she will literally "forget" all about you! Note - Only automatic memories will be forgotten. Manually added memories will remain until deleted. But automatic memories are a major source of response quality.

  • She also "forgets" like a real team member those things which are not recalled often
    • This is to clean up her memory bank to reduce hallucinations and make sure only the most important things are remembered by Hana
    • Make sure you talk to her often else she will forget everything that she has automatically ingested!

  • Automatically ingested memories and their stats can be accessed from Hana Dashboard

  • Feel free to move these nodes around and visualize the nodes and relationships
  • There is a gentle spark animation from source node to target node
  • The visualizer is only for nodes and their relationship at the moment, we are adding for vectors soon

Manually Added Memories​

  • But Hana will never forget memories that you intentionally create and which she has not auto-digested
  • This is to make sure she has reliable context of you and your business forever till you choose to delete those memories manually
