Spaces
Use the Spaces page to view all Google Chat spaces in your organization and manage Hana’s presence and behavior in each. This is the control center for where Hana can reply, what context she can see, and which spaces are synced as memories.
- In this option, you will see all the spaces that were created in the Google Workspace.
- All the spaces in the organization can be viewed in this section and you can control Hana access in these spaces.
- You can only create spaces through Google Workspace not through the Hana dashboard.
Typical actions include toggling whether Hana can reply in a space, restricting her to threads only, and enabling memory sync for selected spaces (so messages become searchable knowledge). For sensitive rooms, consider disabling DMs and enforcing replies only when specific approvers are present.
tip
Hana automatically considers the Google Chat Space Description and Guidelines when replying to users. Setting these fields properly is recommended.
