What is Hana, in one line?

Both.

  • Personal/individual use: reminders, summaries, drafting, inbox triage, quick research, and personal planning.

Yes. Users should complete Google OAuth consent when prompted, with required scopes enabled, so Hana can access authorized Google Workspace context and tools.

Do I need slash commands to use Hana tools?

Usually no. Natural-language @Hana prompts are the default experience for most workflows. Legacy slash commands may still work in some cases, but they are not required for most users.

Can Hana generate and edit images?

Yes. Hana supports OpenAI-powered image generation and editing flows from chat prompts (for example: generate, replace, recolor, outpaint, and related edits).

Can Hana ingest Google Sheets into memory?

Yes. Hana supports Google Sheets ingestion through the Google Drive Memory workflow. See Google Drive Memory for setup and behavior details.

Is there a limit to how many Google Docs Hana can ingest in the Pro plan?

No. The Pro plan allows unlimited Google Doc ingestion and other types of memories too.

Can Hana ingest the entire Google Chat history of a space, or is there a limit?

In threads, Hana remembers history forever as long as the messages remain in Google Chat. In open chat (outside threads), she considers messages only within a short lookback window. The default window is about ten minutes, though higher tiers may offer more history.

Hana reads text, attachments, quoted messages and reactions in that recent history to understand context and provide relevant replies.

How can I view queries made to Hana and the corresponding responses in dashboard?

Use the Invocation History module in Hana Dashboard. It shows invocation messages and corresponding responses with search and pagination support.

Does Hana support task and sprint workflows?

Yes. You can create, track, and update tasks, and manage sprint operations from chat and dashboard.

I purchased more seats. How do I activate the additional users?

New users simply have to mention @Hana in Google Chat. Hana sends an authorization card, and once they authorize with their work email they are automatically mapped to your organization.

Do you offer volume discounts for a large number of users?

Are custom plans or custom deployments available?

Are there plans to auto-refresh or resync Google Docs and Sheets so memories stay up to date?

Yes. Hana now supports automatically resyncing memory batches. Each organization can enable auto resync on up to 60 memory batches. See Auto Resync Memory for details.
