Deferred Message Tools

Automatic detection

You can mention @Hana and describe what to send and when to send it. If the intent is clear, Hana auto-routes to deferred-message tooling.

What it does

Use this tool to schedule a message for later delivery in the current Google Chat context. You can compose now and let Hana send at the specified date/time.

How to invoke

  1. Describe the intent: Mention @Hana and include message content plus send time.
  2. Be explicit about time: Use clear times like today 4 PM, Monday 10 AM, or full date+time.
  3. Confirm scheduling: Hana acknowledges and schedules delivery.

Example:

send laterschedule message
@Hana send this later: "Reminder: Submit your timesheets by 5 PM today." at 4 PM today

Invocation examples

defersend later
@Hana send this in this space at 9 AM tomorrow: "Reminder: Project deadline is tomorrow at 5 PM."
@Hana schedule this for Monday 10 AM in this thread: "Please share final release notes."

Permissions/limits

  • Use clear absolute times when possible.
  • Keep deferred messages concise and action-oriented.
  • Include enough context in the scheduled text so recipients understand it without extra history.

When to use

Use when you want a message posted later in this space or thread without manual follow-up.
