Image Memory
Image Memory stores uploaded images as searchable memory with structured metadata so Hana can use visual context in future responses.
What Gets Stored
For each uploaded image, Hana stores metadata such as:
- Caption
- Primary subjects
- Summary
- Detected text
- Dominant colors
- Potential use cases
- Safety flags
- Reference/original links and file metadata
Access and Permissions
- Supported roles: Admin and Domain Owner.
- Domain Owners can manage broader visibility where enabled for their domain.
Upload Flow
- Open
Hana Dashboard -> Memory -> Image Memory. - Upload an image via drag-and-drop or file picker.
- Optionally provide use-case instructions.
- Submit and monitor ingestion status.
File Constraints
- Supported formats: common image MIME types including PNG, JPEG/JPG, WEBP, GIF, HEIC, and HEIF.
- Max file size: 15 MB per image.
Batch Operations
Depending on status and permissions, row actions include:
- View chunks
- Edit use-case instructions
- Abort in-progress ingestion
- Retry failed ingestion
- Delete batch
